Now since I've already told you about this last weekend, here is a video that I made for this weekend. I forgot to cut the music so when the actual videos stop and it goes black, you can stop it. Nothing great will happen after. So here it is.

Sorry this post was supposed to be from last week. Anyways...I went up this weekend and it was amazing!!! The best tree riding I've ever had!!!! Plus awesome park!!!! Here is a video from the day!!! Best day of the season by far!!!!!

High Shreddin Vol 5

We went up to Mountain High this weekend. My dad, my friend Brandon, and I. I was fun. The starteed out kinda bad, cause I hit a box weird and ended up slamming my face into the snow, but after that it was an awesome day. I ended up landing a Frontside 540 and a Frontside 540 quick revert 180 to 720. Brandon landed a "talefish" Backside 360 that was pretty corked. I also landed my first Frontside Lipslide. My dad was awesome and took me and filmed and photographed me. So thank you to him. :)Towards the end of the day, the snow got really slow but it was fun overall. We did film a couple runs each and decided to make an edit. This is my friend Brandon's awesome edit. Another New Video

Here is a video from a very slushy day last weekend. A couple weeks ago, I decided to try Front 3's on a jump on upper chisolm, then when I had a hard time landing on my toes, I decided to go Front 5's instead. So that I could land on my heels. It is about the same difficulty. For me. Plus it looks cooler. My but never touched the ground on the last clip, so I think I landed it. I will stomp one this weekend, hopefully. And my awesome dad, has been the best, and taken me to Mountain High pretty much every weekend. I love him! My mom too! So anyways, this is an edit I made the same day I filmed it. i hope you enjoy. :)

Hello people. Last saturday I did a USASA Slopestyle #2 at Mt. High. It was so fun. We got there early to register. We got our bibs and free breakfast. Then we started doing practice runs. The jumps were perfect. Not too big, even maybe a little small. We took a run on the course and then hit the powder on the way down. It was great. Then came time to drop. My friend Brandon dropped 1st. From the top you couldn't really see the whole course, but later he told me that his first run was his best. Then I dropped. I did Frontside 50-50 to Frontside Lipslide on a down box. Then the 1st jump, Method. The second jump, Roast Beef. The 3rd Jump, Frontside 360 Indy. I kind of sketched out on the 360 but just kept going. Then we had time for 1 more run for fun before we had to drop for the contest again. We just kind of kept practicing and made it back to the top in time. He dropped first again. He said that his 2nd run wasn't as clean but still good. He did straight airs with grabs and then a shifty on the last jump. Then I dropped for my 3rd and final run. This one was so much better. On the first run, I came off a little early on the down box, but this run I stayed on the whole time. Then I went Method to Roast Beef to Frontside 360 Indy Clean. I was pretty happy with my run but I didn't know what the other guys did. I ended up in 5th Place. That just shows how good these guys were. My friend Brandon is 1 year younger than me, so he was in 1 division below and his run took 1st. Stoked for him. I was kind of wishing I was in his division, but now I just have to push myself more. Overall it was a fun day. Then this weekend, we went up just to ride. He was practicing for filming in Mammoth. I was practicing for a USASA Rail jam next weekend. Depending on the setup I might do it and I might not. Either way, today we each filmed 1 run and I edited it together really quick. Here it is. Not our best riding or filming. Next vid will be better.

New Video and Awesome Day

      I was at the High the last couple of saturdays, practicing for the USASA Slopestyle competition on Jan. 28th. The park setup has been awesome lately. On Borderline, they had some 2 feature pads and then on pipeline they still have 3 awesome jumps. The days were bluebird and warm, yet the snow was awesome. I will be going back up this weekend and will have the comp next weekend. This weekend, they will have the Gatorade Free Flow Tour and the Snowboarder Magazine Superpass competition both this weekend, so I'm not sure how much practice I will get on those jumps seeing as the comps are on those same runs. I will post after the comp and enjoy the video. It was filmed in 3 runs each over MLK weekend. Props to my friend Brandon for editing this. It's pretty sick!! I'm Danny by the way!!
